Welcome to the website of the North East Waste Forum (NEWF), a group of councils on the North Coast of New South Wales, working together towards cost-effective waste management solutions. The group has a voluntary membership, and aims to achieve the development and implementation of local and regionally based solutions to waste management. The member councils include: Ballina Shire Council, Byron Shire Council, Clarence Valley Council, Richmond Valley Council and Tweed Shire Council. The NEWF also has strong ties to other neighbouring councils as well as other Regional Waste Management Groups.
